On a recent city break to NY Times Square discovered this great bar near to our hotel. Staff really friendly, efficient service. Owner Bob was very welcoming. After each days sightseeing we spent many hours sat at the bar catching up on the sports. The beers were excellent, and the bangers 'n' mash was very tasty. Heartily recommend this bar to anyone visiting the area. John and Tony.
We LOVED this place, went two nights in a row. The first night, my dad left his bag on the chair and we were not close by when he realized it was gone. We called them immediately and they had already found it and were holding it for us. They even called me to ask about turning off my dad’s alarm because it had been going off. We appreciate very much what they did for us as we were visiting from Chicago and it would have been a nightmare losing my dad’s belongings. The food and drinks were great, and the service was fantastic. Thank you very much to Ian and (I believe his name was) Phil you guys are the best!
Read about o'caseys on Google so we had to try to our trip from PEI,Canada to NY last week.I have the veggie burgers,my sisters had chicken and another burger and all was delicious with friendly staff and nice atmosphere
Great little Irish pub right in the heart of Times Square.. honestly a hidden gem that isn’t buried with tourists, just a little bit. Friendly staff, stiff drinks and good food.
I stepped out of the hustle and bustle of the theater district and as soon as I walked in the door I couldn't hear a single noise outside of it. I had a quality cod & chips for a reasonable price. If you see Phil he skillfully pours a Guinness the way it should be! I came back for a second visit and Priscilla remembered me and saved my gloves that I left behind. Very friendly and customer oriented staff in an establishment that preserves a slice of classic New York in its decor and atmosphere. O'Cassey's is a peaceful oasis in the chaos of Times Square. Next time I visit New York I will certainly visit again.
